Recently, the 2009 Symposium on the Application of Domestic CNC Machine Tools in the Military Industry was held in Beijing. This conference is jointly hosted by the National Development and Reform Commission, the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, and the National Defense Science and Technology Industry Bureau, and jointly organized by the China Machine Tool Industry Association and the China Peaceful Uses Military Industry Technology Association. The meeting released the fourth batch of "Guidelines for the Demand for High end CNC Machine Tools in the Military Industry" and "2009 Edition Recommended Product Compilation for Domestic CNC Machine Tools".
It is reported that the conference has been held for four consecutive sessions and has become an important working platform for the long-term cooperation mechanism between the military industry and the machine tool industry, effectively promoting effective communication and common development between these two industries. Through years of hard work, Chinese military enterprises have evolved from passive procurement of domestic machine tools to active procurement now, indicating that domestic CNC machine tools have been recognized by users, "said Zhang Guobao, Deputy Director of the National Development and Reform Commission.
Wang Yiren, Deputy Director of the National Defense Science, Technology and Industry Bureau, stated that currently 80% of China Aviation Industry Corporation's CNC machine tools are domestic brands. Guo Xiaoting, Deputy Director of the Planning Department of China Ordnance Industry Corporation, stated that 90% of the group's machine tool products currently purchase domestically produced products.
It is understood that the implementation of the "Major Science and Technology Special Implementation Plan for High end CNC Machine Tools and Basic Manufacturing Equipment", the "Equipment Manufacturing Industry Adjustment and Revitalization Plan" of the State Council, and the "Thousand CNC Machine Tool Efficiency Enhancement Project" of the national defense technology industry are currently steadily advancing. Under the guidance and support of favorable policies from government departments, the long-term cooperation mechanism between the military industry and the machine tool industry has gradually improved and entered a standardized track. The cooperation between supply and demand sides is gradually entering a favorable stage and constantly consolidating. Nearly 40 high-precision CNC machine tools that are planned to be imported have been converted into domestic acquisitions through localization demonstration, and more and more machine tool enterprises have made significant breakthroughs in relevant technical fields relying on military key projects, It has effectively promoted independent innovation and technological progress across the entire industry.
